Book a Screening/Discussion with director Kevin Bender

After introducing and showing the 26-minute film, filmmaker and educator Kevin Bender leads an interactive discussion about Bonilla’s vision and how he realized it, as well as Bender’s own vision in making the film. He also encourages and educates audience members in how to create and communicate their own vision.

Perfect for Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept 15-Oct 15), this event is ideal for schools, libraries, community centers, festivals, bookstores, and other venues and audiences. That's pretty typical! If the city can't make money off of him why let him live his dreams. You know instead of shutting him down the dumb asses at the city could think of positive ways to spin this. I know that there has been high school events at the stadium and many other positive things for the community. He's helping local construction company local high schools all the structures are sound and it's on his property. Give the guy a break and city council you ever heard of damage control? Do you realize how bad you look that you shut down a poor Mexican dishwasher turned business man? He loved this country so much that he wanted to stay here but was home sick and wanted to "recreate" his home village of Zacatecas on his property and share it with the community. This was his dream project and guess what all you did was push him away and now he lives in Mexico and guess what city he's a multi millionaire and now all his money that's earned in the U.S. is going to support Mexicos economy and not our local businesses. GOOD JOB SMART GUY I HOPE YOU ACCOMPLISHED YOUR GOAL JUST BECAUSE YOU NEVER DREAMED OF ANYTHING BIGGER THAN A 35,000 DOLLAR A YEAR CITY JOB DON'T SHIT ON HIS DREAMS.
